Seat-Swapping Decision Saved Joshua’s Anthony Life

Watford-born Joshua was in Nigeria just days after defeating Jake Paul in the sixth-round of their much-discussed bout in Miami, and he was hospitalised following the crash. The Brit and his friends were planning on spending New Year in a country where he has family roots.

That all changed when they were travelling on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway and after Joshua was taken to Duchess International Hospital with minor injuries, it’s now been revealed that the decision for him to swap seats moments before the crash may have saved his life.

Joshua, 36 and one of the best British boxers on the planet right now, changed seats to the back of the SUV before the crash which killed two of his closest friends, soon after they had landed in Nigeria’s capital city.
