Victor Osimhen Settled His Luxury Mercedes Benz Car Debt

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has reportedly settled a lingering financial dispute over a luxury vehicle lease, even as he missed out on a place in the latest list of the world’s 15 most valuable footballers.

According to reports, the Galatasaray forward cleared an outstanding debt of about €75,000 linked to the lease of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle from a Milan-based rental company, bringing an end to the misunderstanding surrounding the matter.

It was learnt that the striker was initially unaware of the unpaid balance on the contract. The issue has now been resolved, with reports indicating that the vehicle in question will remain in Germany following the settlement.

The Nigerian international, who plays for Galatasaray, is valued by the Istanbul giants at around €150m, reflecting his status as one of the most soughtafter forwards in world football.

Speaking during a visit to Seoul, Macron said the comments lacked class and did not meet expected standards, insisting he would not engage with such statements.

The exchange comes amid rising tensions between both leaders over issues including NATO and the ongoing conflict involving Iran.

Trump had reportedly mocked Macron and his wife, Brigitte, during a private gathering, even imitating a French accent while criticizing European allies for not supporting military actions in the Middle East.

He also made personal remarks suggesting Macron’s wife treated him poorly, referencing an earlier viral video that had been widely dismissed by the French president as misleading.

Reacting to the situation, Macron emphasized that global attention should remain on serious matters, particularly efforts to ease tensions in the Middle East and work toward a ceasefire.

He warned against excessive rhetoric, stressing the importance of stability, calm, and peace, and adding that international affairs should not be treated as entertainment.

Trump’s comments drew criticism across the French political spectrum. Yael Braun-Pivet, head of France’s lower house of parliament, condemned the remarks as inappropriate, highlighting the gravity of global conflicts and accusing Trump of making light of serious issues.

Even opposition figure Manuel Bompard, a frequent critic of Macron, defended the president, describing Trump’s comments about both Macron and his wife as unacceptable.

Meanwhile, Trump continued his criticism of NATO, calling the alliance ineffective and questioning its reliability in major conflicts. He also hinted that the United States might reassess its relationship with NATO after the Iran situation stabilizes, further deepening concerns about transatlantic unity.
